Family-Friendly Employers award scheme in 2011

Linkz treats all the staff members as our valuable assets, in order to boost their morale and increase sense of belonging to company, we organize different activities for our staff regularly and place great emphasis on communication.

The Family Council organized the “Family-Friendly Employers award scheme in 2011” to promote family values and a caring culture in the business sector and the community as a whole. Linkz has won “Family-Friendly Employer award” for our long-standing commitment to employee development and harmonious workplace relations.

Caring Company Award

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) has named Linkz one of Hong Kong's "Caring Companies" for nine successful consecutive years. The award acknowledges Linkz's efforts in corporate social responsibility, which the company has demonstrated through its active participation in a wide range of community initiatives, encouraging its employees to engage in various volunteer initiatives, particularly in support of the underprivileged and caring for the environment.

Linkz joins with Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks to showcase its optical fiber cables

In a movement to help raise public awareness of the prominent and ever-growing role of technology in today’s society, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks has opened a grand showcase entitled “Professor Charles K. Kao: Father of Fibre Optics” and invited Linkz as a partner to bring this showcase to life.

The grand opening of the showcase was held on January 19 and the General Manager of Linkz, Mr. Stephen Ho was also present. In the showcase, Linkz has created various demonstration booths that highlight the “Fibre City: Fibre Estate: Fibre Home” concept of using optical fiber for current and future applications. These demonstrations will help to educate the public – as well as others in the industry such as the new generation of engineers, scientists and technology entrepreneurs – so that they may understand the history and nature of optical fiber and inspire them to follow Professor Kao’s example of perseverance and innovation.

Linkz is a manufacturer of high-end cable solutions and is one of the largest wire and cable manufacturers in China. It always strives to help elevate the quality of the entire industry and also adheres to its commitment in spearheading cable technology education for both the industry and society.

Linkz named as ‘The Better World Company’ by JCI Hong Kong

Over the years, Linkz treat corporate social responsibility (CSR) as own duty by proactively participating numerous environmental protection and social caring activities. Caring the needs and welfare of internal employees, practicing eco-manufacturing, pledging commitment to social responsibility and development are what Linkz has realized her philosophy of CSR as well as set as role model to drive employees and industry towards the way of being social and world responsible.

United Nation passed its eight Millennium Development Goals targeting to complete by 2015 ranging from halving extreme poverty , universal education, gender equality, child and maternal health, combat diseases, environmental sustainability and global partnership. Linkz contributed in several areas and now named as ‘The Better World Company’ by JCI Hong Kong which further recognised the efforts of CSR.

Linkz is awarded in the first “Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizen Award” for excellent performance at CSR

Linkz has always been obliged to fulfill its commitment to environment where products from Linkz are hazardous free, non-halogen. Asides from this, Linkz continuously participate countless of social caring activities in the past years. Hence, from caring internal employees to external parties of society, Linkz made every endeavor to put their vision of corporate social responsibility (CSR) into practices and drove employees and industry for caring the society and the world.

Launched by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the Award is a highlight of the “Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program”. The Award Scheme includes five categories, namely Services Industry, Manufacturing Industry, SME, Non-profit Distribution Group and Corporate Volunteer Group. The purpose aims to praise awardees for their outstanding achievements in the implementation and promotion of CSR, build a platform for different organizations to share their CSR experience across-the-board and enhance the competitiveness through the Award scheme.

Linkz repeats to spread eco-awareness to community in Earth Hour

Earth Hour, found by WWF in Sydney, Australia since 2007 to turn off their lights for one hour has become one of the world's biggest climate change initiatives. People around the world will turn off their lights for one hour in the forth Earth Hour at 8:30pm on March 27 2010.

In 2009, hundreds of millions of people participate in the third Earth Hour. Over 4000 cities in 88 countries switched off to support this planet care movement, deeply embedding the mind of environmental protection in people’s lives.

Not only endlessly supporting eco-manufacturing, Linkz will join the movement for demonstrate our ambition to support and spread our eco-awareness against climate changes and build a sustainable future for generations to come.

Share ourselves in New Territories Walk 2008/2009

Proactive persisting caring spirit, implementing social responsibility and contributing to build harmonious society are Linkz’ corporate culture. Even under global financial turndown, Linkz also participated into "New Territories Walk 2008/2009" launched by The Community Chest in order to get along with Hong Kong in this difficult period and share our love with the needy in society.

Salvation Army 'Lai See Day' program 2009

In order to commence our social responsibilities, Linkz participated into "Lai See Day 2009" launched by the Salvation Army.

"Lai See Day 2009" aims to support the ongoing charity work of The Salvation Army in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China. Our staff shares their Chinese New Year blessings with the needy by contributing their red packet money. Linkz engages staff participation and provides platforms for quality and up-to-date services to our community continually.

Volunteer Ambassador Program by Social Welfare Department

Under the impact of global financial turmoil, Linkz also participated into "Volunteer Ambassador Program" launched by Social Welfare Department.

This Campaign aims to encourage the volunteer to show care to the needy by making knots / scarves for building up a caring society. Under proactive participation and Linkz’ spirit, our staff share their passion of servicing to our community continually.
